What a fun session! And Miss Lakyn is a beautiful girl! :-)
We started out her photos at Glensheen Mansion in Duluth. What a beautiful place for photos! We had beautiful weather, too! We also went to Lester Park & a cool building at Connor's Point. We're actually doing another session today for a few more shots & her siblings. :-) Looking forward to it.
I think Lakyn's session is a good example of what it means to choose a good location. Her & her mom took some time to seek out locations that they could work with & chose clothing to accompany her location choices. It really makes a person's photos more personal when they seek out locations that are either meaningful or representative of what they wish to portray. Thank you so much Lisa & Lakyn for choosing me to photograph your senior portraits!
About Me...
I have always loved photography & photos in general. As a young girl, my room was filled with photos & albums of my friends & family. I am still this way as I love to have constant reminders through photos of all of the special people in my life & many of the wonderful experiences that I have had as well. My wedding day, the birth of my children, my children's first baths, my children's first steps, their first little tooth, birthday parties, family events...all of those beautiful, precious memories & events that we can never experience again once they have happened. I am so grateful that by doing something I really love, I can provide many families with photos that they can look at over & over & share with their families & friends. I love that I can provide them with beautiful memories that they will hang on the walls of their homes & precious memories that will be tucked inside photo albums on their coffee tables & in their wallets for years to come.
About My Photo Sessions...
Telling a story and portraying who a person truly & uniquely is; is the style of photography that I capture in each of my photo sessions. Capturing the essence of a person or a moment is an amazing piece of another's journey through life that being a photographer allows me to do. Whether I am photographing a child, a family or a special event; being there to capture what may have otherwise been forgotten or unseen is such an amazing and beautiful part of why I do what I do. I love to be there to capture true joy, beautiful smiles, pure excitement and those infamous tears that come upon all of us at one time or another. Every human being has been made for a purpose. Each for something great. It is an honor to be a part of portraying the greatness, uniqueness & special qualities in every person I photograph.
