Brendan

I haven't been blogging my sessions like I would like to because with holiday orders & time crunches...I have been putting pictures up in client proofing galleries right away, hence not really needing the preview on my blog for my clients. But, in the midst of a the blizzard we had today...I was able to work on a few blog updates.

This session was a mini-session! I had been wanting to get Brendan's pictures taken...but with being so busy...I wasn't able to get him in until mid-November. And by that time...it was a bit chilly...so we just did the pictures at my sister's house. Brendan is my nephew and he is such a talented guy! He is an amazing athlete and LOVES music. He has taken up the electric guitar this past August and is seriously doing so awesome! I love hearing him play! So, his session was of him & some of his new best friend...his guitar.

Family Session

Last week, I spent the afternoon with a fun family! We went to the Fairlawn Museum in Superior. They had a pretty large group of 18 people...so finding a place indoors was difficult. The museum worked fine and we managed to get everyone photographed! :-) Sometimes as a photographer...we face very challenging lighting situations...and this was one of those times. It was a bit darker than I had anticipated from being in there previously...but, we made the best of our surroundings as we had no other options...it was only 10 degrees outside! The grounds outdoors at the museum are very pretty...but...it was just too incredibly cold & windy. Everything worked out in the end! Enjoy your preview! Your gallery is uploading as I type! :-)

Portrait Session

I've been MIA with my blog, I know. :-( I've been extremely busy with editing, fulfilling orders & prints...so my blogging has been kind of on the backburner! I've got several more sessions to blog...but if I don't get to them all...it's just this time of year!!!

The cold Wisconsin air didn't keep us from having a great session!!! It was quite cold...but we just did things quick & in between...they went in the house to warm up. I had a lot of fun! And I think everyone else did, too. :-) Carson is turning 4 this month...so we took a few more of him! Enjoy!

About Me...

I have always loved photography & photos in general. As a young girl, my room was filled with photos & albums of my friends & family. I am still this way as I love to have constant reminders through photos of all of the special people in my life & many of the wonderful experiences that I have had as well. My wedding day, the birth of my children, my children's first baths, my children's first steps, their first little tooth, birthday parties, family events...all of those beautiful, precious memories & events that we can never experience again once they have happened. I am so grateful that by doing something I really love, I can provide many families with photos that they can look at over & over & share with their families & friends. I love that I can provide them with beautiful memories that they will hang on the walls of their homes & precious memories that will be tucked inside photo albums on their coffee tables & in their wallets for years to come.

About My Photo Sessions...

Telling a story and portraying who a person truly & uniquely is; is the style of photography that I capture in each of my photo sessions. Capturing the essence of a person or a moment is an amazing piece of another's journey through life that being a photographer allows me to do. Whether I am photographing a child, a family or a special event; being there to capture what may have otherwise been forgotten or unseen is such an amazing and beautiful part of why I do what I do. I love to be there to capture true joy, beautiful smiles, pure excitement and those infamous tears that come upon all of us at one time or another. Every human being has been made for a purpose. Each for something great. It is an honor to be a part of portraying the greatness, uniqueness & special qualities in every person I photograph.
